As you add equipment - air conditioners, appliances, electric heaters - your breaker box and the wiring from it to the meter must have the capacity to handle the load. If it doesn’t have enough capacity, your breakers will trip. The breaker box belongs to the homeowner and is not serviced by us. Sometimes, a larger electrical transformer (the big gray can that hangs atop a pole) may be needed too. That, of course, is part of Pioneer Electric’s role.

Speaking of which, we provide a free meter base as long as the meter base is to be mounted on a home or building. If a meter base and pole (electrical entrance) are needed, you can purchase the electrical service entrance from Pioneer when you're ready to upgrade.

Pioneer’s engineering and operations staff is eager to assist you. When it comes time to upgrade, in addition to advice, we provide wiring specifications for your electrician or electrical contractor. In the interest of your safety, Pioneer will not connect electricity to your home or business until the appropriate electrical codes are met.
