Bring Your 'A' Game To Work

Pioneer Electric Cooperative recently sponsored a work ethic development course called “Bring Your ‘A’ Game to Work” on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 for area teachers at Pioneer’s office and on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 for area business leaders at Lurleen B. Wallace Community College’s Greenville campus. 

Lucky PEC Member Wins iPad From PowerSouth

Pioneer Electric Cooperative member, Linda Golson, was presented with an iPad on October 30, 2014 by PEC communications specialist Casey Rogers on behalf of PowerSouth Energy Cooperative as part of a energy usage survey prize drawing.

PEC Participates in Community Safety Event

Pioneer Electric Cooperative (PEC) joined Alabama Operation Lifesaver in educating members of the community about the safety hazards associated with power lines and railroad crossings this past Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at The Old Depot Museum.

PEC Promotes Cooperative Commitment

Pioneer Electric Cooperative presented Selma High School graduating senior, Nivory Gordon, III, with the 2014 Electric Cooperative Foundation, Inc. Scholarship valued at $1,000 at the Selma High School awards ceremony on May 20, 2014.

Rates Remain Stable

Pioneer Electric Cooperative is actively working for members to maintain stable rates and has no intentions to increase rates in the immediate future.

Pioneer Electric Retirees

Pioneer Electric Cooperative said bittersweet goodbyes last week to two longtime employees, Larry Cowles and Joe Watts. The two retired after a combined total of almost 43 years of dedicated service to the cooperative.
