Visitors to the site will discover navigational tools to take them quickly to the information they need, such as bill pay options, energy saving tips and information needed for “do it yourself” home energy audits. The new site reflects Pioneer’s identity and gives a more personal feel through a clean, uncluttered design that features images our employees in action and the services we offer. “Our goal was to create a vibrant website that expresses the personality of our members and Pioneer,” said Angela Green, communications specialist for Pioneer Electric. “As a cooperative, our goal is to serve our member-owners, and upgrading the website is one more way to better serve them.” In conjunction to the new website, Pioneer has also launched a new mobile Web site specifically optimized for mobile devices / smart phones such as iPhones, Blackberries, etc. The new mobile Web site contains the following information:
“This new mobile Web site will allow smart phone users to access useful company information at any time from any location,” said Green. “The new mobile access was constructed in response to the rapid growth in the use of smart phone technology in our service area.” The cooperative’s communications team knows members may have suggestions for improvements as they use the new site.
