Pioneer Electric Hosts Holiday Blood Drives in Selma and Greenville

Greenville, AL, December 1st, 2010

Winter weather and holidays are quickly approaching and usually mean an appeal for blood. This is due to donors unable to give due to illnesses and vacations. This summer the American Red Cross went on an all blood type appeal due to the extreme temperatures and trips. The economy causing businesses to close has also taken a toll on the blood supply. Every 2 seconds someone needs blood and each donation can save up to 3 lives.

We are encouraging our members and employees, their families and friend to give blood. All presenting donors will be automatically entered into a drawing to win a pair of Delta Airlines roundtrip tickets.
