Pioneer Electric Cooperative supports continuing education through the Electric Cooperative Foundation Scholarship Program each year. Graduating high school seniors in PEC’s service area are eligible to compete for two $1000 scholarships.
The applicant must be the full-time dependent of a Pioneer Electric Cooperative member to apply.
The program, established in 1997, awards scholarships to dependents of members of participating electric cooperatives. Granted only to graduating high school seniors, the student must attend a four-year college, a junior college, a technical school or vocational school of the scholarship recipient's choice provided that such school is an accredited institution.
Applications for the scholarships are available in November of each year. This year's scholarship deadline is February 16, 2018. If you have questions regarding our scholarship program, contact Casey Rogers, our Communications Specialist at 334-382-4904 or by e-mail.
