PIONEER ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP

The $1,000 scholarship is awarded to the son or daughter of someone who receives electricity from Pioneer Electric Cooperative. Area high school guidance counselors have applications or call Pioneer's Linda Horn at 382-6636 or 1-800-239-3092 for more information.

Are you a high school senior who is graduating this spring?

Are you a dependent of a member of our local cooperative?

If so, you are eligible to apply for a scholarship from the Electric Cooperative Foundation. Your local cooperative has joined other cooperatives throughout the state of Alabama to create the Electric Cooperative Foundation. Each spring the Foundation will award scholarships across Alabama for students to continue their education at post-secondary and vocational schools.

Scholarship winners are chosen from applicants who reside in areas served by Pioneer Electric Cooperative. Winners are chosen on the basis of grade point average, ranking in class, advanced courses, and extracurricular activities.

For more details about these scholarships, obain a copy of an Electric Cooperative scholarship application from your high school guidance counselor or call Linda Horn at 1-800-239-3092.
